The Chief Executive of the Building and Construction Authority notifies interested parties that the application process of the Contractors’ License will be open from the 24th of July till the 31st October. Applications can only be submitted online on www.bca.org.mt. The license required for the activity services in: a. Demolition; b. Excavation and Piling and c. Construction. The documents required for this first phase of the application are:
Individual
- A copy of the identity card or passport.
- Conduct certificate issued in the last two months.
- If the applicant is not a person who is a habitual resident in Malta, an equivalent document issued by a competent judicial authority or administrative authority of the country where the applicant is habitually resident must be provided.
- Declaration signed by the individual showing that he/she is not bankrupt (provided on the online application).
Company
- A copy of the identity card or passport of the administrator.
- Conduct certificate of the administrator issued in the last two months. If the administrator is not a person who is a habitual resident in Malta, an equivalent document issued by a competent judicial authority or administrative authority of the country where the administrator is habitually resident must be provided.
- Declaration signed by the administrator showing that the company is not bankrupt (provided on the online application)
- Company registration certificate.
- Document to prove the administrators’ position within the company.
- The board of directors’ resolution authorizing the administrator to represent the company.
