A call of interest for Lawyers and Architects to aid third parties affected by Construction

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is accepting applications from Warranted Lawyers and Periti to aid third parties (defined in Chapter 23 of the Laws of Malta) affected by construction developments nearby. 

From among the applications submitted, the BCA will be evaluating and selecting Architects and Periti who are trustworthy, able to work in a team, motivated, and with a forward vision in order to form a panel that offers this new service.

This new service is a result of the initiatives that were announced by the Government after the Publication of the Sofia Public Inquiry. The main aim of this initiative is that third parties will have a solid representation, without costs, when defending their rights in the construction process. 

The call for applications will close on the 29th of March 2024 and can be accessed on www.bca.org.mt/procurement
