With reference to the publication of Legal Notice 38/2024 on the Government Gazette 21,198 on the 27th February, 2024, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) wishes to inform that the template for the declaration of insurance cover is now available for download on the BCA website.
With Immediate effect, a declaration of insurance should be presented to the BCA for all projects involving demolition, excavation, or construction. The Declaration is to be filled in, signed, and stamped by the insurance issuing the Policy. The BCA shall be expecting to receive declarations instead of insurance policies, while at the same time, it reserves the right to request a policy when it deems it necessary for the execution of the Authority’s function.
